About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours 30 minutes

SF Pride is proud to introduce Threads of Pride, a new program that embodies this year’s theme: “Queer Joy is Resistance.”Through fashion, we honor our heritage, celebrate our culture, and amplify the voices of those fighting for LGBTQ+ rights.

At the heart of Threads of Pride is a powerful fashion show that does more than showcase style—it humanizes the LGBTQ+ community, educates the world about ongoing attacks on our rights, and highlights the beauty, resilience, and joy that define us. This event will shine a spotlight on 10+ NGOs leading critical fights for justice, pairing their representatives with models and activists in a dynamic runway experience. Fashion designers will bring these stories to life, using their artistry to reflect the mission and spirit of each cause.

This is a call to action for everyone who believes in the power of joy as resistance:

✨ Fashion designers – Use your creativity to uplift and inspire.

✨ Activists & allies – Walk the runway and make a statement.

✨ NGOs – Share your mission and connect with new supporters.

✨ Donors & philanthropists – Help turn advocacy into action.

✨ Community members – Show up, celebrate, and make an impact.

Together, let’s create a night of visibility, solidarity, and transformation. Threads of Pride isn’t just a fashion show—it’s a movement.

Join us. Stand with us. Celebrate with us.

All of us at SF Pride and Threads Of Pride would like to express our deep gratitute to YBCA for hosting us and supporting our inaugural event!
