Threads of Hope: Day of Service

By The Hem Community

Overview

We’re partnering with City Relief for a powerful day of service! Together, we’ll bring hope, love and support to those in need.

On November 22, we invite you to join us for a full day of service dedicated to reaching and uplifting those in need.

As Jesus said: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40).

This year, we are honored to partner with City Relief, an organization committed to serving those who are unhoused and marginalized with compassion and dignity.

✨ What to Expect

📋 Registration Survey – Once you register, you’ll receive a short survey to select your preferred service location: SOUTH BRONX IS THE ONLY LOCATION OPEN.

🚌 Transportation Provided – We’ll get you to and from your outreach location with ease. We will meet at the Clifton Site and then be transported to your service site.

🍽️ Meal & Fellowship – At the end of the day, we’ll come back together to share a meal.

📖 Devotional & Reflection – We’ll spend time reflecting on the day’s impact through Scripture and conversation.

By signing up, you are committing to a full day of service—from morning preparation to outreach, cleanup, and debrief. And to celebrate your dedication, we’ll close the day with free coffee from Kingdom Drip Coffee!

📸 By registering, you consent to photos and media being taken during the event.

🥗 Food will be served throughout the day. Please be mindful of your own allergies and dietary restrictions.

👩‍👩‍👦 Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
