A ten-time Blues Music Award nominee and 2023 winner for Best Soul/Blues Female Artist, she has shared the stage with legends like B.B. King, Ray Charles, and Etta James. Her acclaimed 2016 album Honest Woman earned multiple awards, including the Blues Blast Music Award and France’s La Académie du Jazz Award for Best Blues Album. Known for her powerful vocals and commanding presence, Davis was praised by DownBeat for delivering a “no-nonsense” performance at the Monterey Jazz Festival.
