Thomas M Nelson has served in elective office for twenty years and is a seasoned campaigner having run for U.S. House of Representatives (2016) and U.S. Senate (2022). He is also the author of One Day Stronger: How One Union Local Saved a Mill and Changed an Industry—and What It Means for American Manufacturing.
Jerald Podair is professor of history and the Robert S. French Professor of American Studies Emeritus at Lawrence University. He is the author of the award-winning books The Strike That Changed New York: Blacks, Whites, and the Ocean Hill–Brownsville Crisis and City of Dreams: Dodger Stadium and the Birth of Modern Los Angeles, among others. His scholarly work has also been published widely.
