Who can play in this tournament?

Anyone with an active USCF membership can participate. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Participant are not required to be TSCA students.

Where is the tournament held?

The tournament will take place online at Lichess.org. You’ll need a free Lichess account to play.

When will this event occur?

This event begins at 10 AM EDT on Saturday July 26th. It will have a duration of approximately 1.5 hours. It will end at around 11:30 AM EDT.

What is the format and time control?

This is a 4-round Swiss-system tournament with a time control of Game in 10 minutes with no increment (G/10 +0). All players will be paired according to USCF Swiss rules, and everyone plays in a single open section.

When will I receive joining instructions?

Once your registration and payment have been confirmed, you will receive detailed instructions on how to join the Lichess tournament. These instructions will be sent by email at least 24 hours before the tournament begins.

When can I expect rating changes to take effect?

USCF Rating will be processed after the event. It will be live after 1 month, per USCF regulations and standards.
