Overview

Can we keep our idea of where we are going while enjoying being where we are?

Thinking, Trusting, and Yielding to Weight and Lightness with Karla Booth

Transitions in life can be exciting, challenging and even scary.  Sometimes we transition seamlessly into a new job or life situation and at other times it’s awkward or uncomfortable, maybe even clunky.  During Covid I brought my movement and AT classes together and 4 times a week we moved, directed our awareness and slowed down, deepening into our explorations and finding more ease and grace in our transitions.  In this workshop we will play with clear thought, awareness, initiating movement, yielding, weight and the reciprocity of lightness in movement transition and maybe even to rest in the fear and excitement of moving from here to there.

Please have a space where you can lie down and move.

Complimentary tickets are available to any teachers, trainees, and students who identify as Black, Indigenous, Asian, Pacific Islander, or Persons of Color.
