By Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge

Overview

Join us at the Visitor Center to learn about stinging insects (and how to avoid getting stung)!

In this talk, you will learn about several kinds of stinging insects and ways you can avoid being stung. Most of our focus will be on yellow jackets, a commonly-encountered wasp at home and in parks!

This program is led by Jim Nechols, a retired entomologist. Join us in the Education Room located inside the Visitor Center at the Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Space is limited!
