“Refining elements of no-wave and shoegaze into “sheets of distortion and [a] gripping sense of catharsis“ (Evening Echo), and described as “one of the most promising of the new wave of ‘quiet-loud-scary’ bands haunting venues up and down Ireland“ (Ellevenses), Cork trio Therapy Horse marshal a gamut of influences including Lingua Ignota, Wednesday, Mogwai and Slint, as well as Irish acts such as Percolator and Elastic Sleep, into an exorcistic wall of sound.
Having sold out their first Cork headliner and shared bills with acts like I Dreamed I Dream, the Guilteens and Crying Loser whilst also gaining a foothold in the Limerick scene, Therapy Horse intend to capitalise on this momentum by releasing their debut single in the coming months, recorded with Andy Killian.

Known for their intricate guitar work, glitchy grooves, and atmospheric soundscapes, they incorporate spoken-word samples to add a subtle narrative thread to their largely instrumental performances.
