FOOD VENDORS:

MUST operate from an enclosed food truck (no tents/booths allowed).

No power provided – vendors must be self-sufficient. No tables or chairs provided.

Flat Rate Fee: $450 (Fan Fest & Concert access).

Setup begins at 2pm.

Requirements: Valid food permit, liability insurance, health compliance. Setup must be completed by 5:15 PM on event day.••

CLOTHING & MERCH VENDORS:

Must bring own tents, tables, chairs, lighting, etc. No power provided.vAll JSU-branded items must be officially licensed. Flat Rate Fee: $350 (Fan Fest & Concert access).

Setup begins at 4pm.

Requirements: Small Business Compliant, setup by 5:30 PM.

What time can vendors arrive for setup, and by when must we be fully set up?

Vendors can begin setup as early as 2pm on the day of the event.

Will there be a designated load-in/load-out area for vendors?

Yes, vendors will be able to temporarily park near the area where they will be operating from.

How close can we park to the vendor space for unloading and during the event?

Vendor parking will be located in a seperate lot within walking distance to the event.

Is there overnight security if we arrive early or leave equipment overnight?

No, all event setup and breakdown must take place between 2pm and Midnight on the day of the event.

How large are the assigned vendor spaces (exact dimensions)?

Each assigned vendor space measures 10 feet wide by 10 feet deep. This is the standard space allocated for all vendors. If you require additional space (for larger setups, trailers, or food trucks), please let us know in advance, as additional fees or accommodations may apply based on availability.

Is power access available (if not, can generators be used)?

Power is not provided, but vendors are allow to use generators.

Are there restrictions on signage, decorations, or displays?

Yes, there are some restrictions to ensure a safe and organized event experience. All signage, decorations, and displays must be contained within your assigned vendor space and must not block walkways, neighboring vendors, or event signage. No vulgar or inappropriate wording allowed.

What’s the policy if a vendor needs to cancel? Any refund options?

Refunds: Vendor fees are non-refundable, as event logistics and marketing commitments are made well in advance. However, in cases of extreme circumstances (such as documented medical emergencies or severe weather cancellations by the event organizers), partial refunds or future event credits may be

Where will vendor locations be positioned in relation to main attractions or entertainment areas?

Vendors will be setup just outside Lot A. The actual event is in the main lot of the Stadium, a short walking distance from the vendors.

Will vendors be promoted on the event’s social media, website, or printed materials?

Yes, we do plan to highlight participating vendors through our event marketing efforts. While we can’t guarantee individual features for every vendor, we will include a list of confirmed vendors on our website and social media channels leading up to the event.

Are there opportunities for sponsorships or featured vendor spots?

Sponsors and featured vendors receive added visibility through event marketing, including mentions on our media platforms, website, and during event announcements. Depending on the sponsorship level, additional perks such as premium vendor placement near high-traffic areas & on-stage mentions.

Do food vendors need a temporary food permit or health inspection?

Any vendor preparing, holding, transporting, and/or serving food for pay must obtain a permit from the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH).

Must all merchandise vendors be licensed to sell JSU-related products?

Yes, all vendors selling Jackson State University (JSU) branded or related merchandise must be officially licensed through JSU’s licensing program. This ensures compliance with the university’s trademark and branding policies.
