Frequently asked questions

How often does the group meet?

At the moment, we meet second Saturday of every month.

What do I need to join?

Writing materials, a printout of your story and most importantly, an open mind.

How long do the sessions last?

Two hours.

What kind of writing can be critiqued?

All forms of writing. However, not many writers understand the dynamics of other forms of writing besides fiction, creative non-fiction & poetry so we plan to stick with these for now. As the group grows larger, we can consider other forms.

What form will the critique take?

Sessions will run like writing workshops, where hard copies will be marked up with suggestions. The writer will make the final call on whether to accept editing suggestions.
