The Witnessing - A Devotional Winter Solstice Portal

As we move closer to Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year—we cross the threshold where darkness is not an absence, but a womb.
A place where light gestates.
A place where rebirth begins.

We gather in devotion to truth, to womanhood, to the sacred act of being witnessed. We open the ceremony, in an elemental circle, inviting our guides and honoring their wisdom. We then proceed with a gentle scrying ritual, using mirrors as portals of self-witnessing—soft spaces for truth rather than judgment. This inner descent prepares each woman to meet the void as a quiet, generative place where her inner flame grows. Supported through breath, ritual, and guided presence, she is invited to step forward and be seen in her most authentic expression, allowing her Witnessing (photo) Session to unfold from grounded embodiment rather than performance. Each woman receives a 10-minute individualized photo session held with care, reverence, and grounded presence. While one is being photographed, others are invited to journal, continue scrying, gently move, or simply witness.

Every participant will recieve access to their private online gallery, one professionally edited portrait of your choosing, and sliding-scale options to purchase additional images or the full set

Please note: This offering is intentionally intimate and seating is extremely limited to preserve depth and presence. Light snacks, Cacoa, Tea, and Tinctures will be served but you can also bring your own bring your own snacks and drinks. Bring a journal or book of shadows, a writing utensil, and anything you want to charge on the alter. Wear comfortable clothing that helps you feel like you, any ceremonial adornment, shawls, jewelry, or fabrics to photograph with.Parking is available behind the building or on the street.
