We are delighted to welcome internationally renowned psychologist, researcher, and author Dr. Hillary McBride to Ireland for a special workshop exploring embodiment, mental health, healing, and spirituality.
Drawing on her celebrated books The Wisdom of Your Body and Holy Hurt, Hillary will guide us through a day of interactive, workshop-style experience blending teaching, reflection, and gentle embodied practices. Together, we will explore:
- The broken and unhealthy ideas we have inherited about our body, and learning to listen better to our bodies as sources of wisdom and sacredness
- Practical tools for cultivating wholeness in body, mind, and spirit
- The impact of spirituality on our relationship with our bodies
- What it means to tend to “holy hurt” — the wounds left by harmful or shaming faith experiences
This workshop is for anyone curious about embodiment, wanting to heal from the impact of harmful experiences, or looking for practical tools to support wellbeing and wholeness in everyday life. It will also be valuable for those interested in supporting others in their own journeys of healing and growth. Lunch and refreshments are included.
