About This Event

Join us at Cross Park on February 21, 2026 at 4:00 PM for a rejuvenating experience. Let's shake off the winter blues and welcome the new season with open arms.

Inspired by the ancient festival Februa — a time of purification, cleansing, and preparation for spring — this 3-hour experience blends breathwork, expressive art, and movement/dance into a unique and uplifting journey.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just looking to try something new, this event is perfect for everyone. Come as you are and be ready to explore new ways to connect with yourself and the world around you.

Leave lighter, clearer, grounded, and re-energized. Don't miss this opportunity to kickstart your spring with positivity and energy. See you there!

Science-Backed Benefits

These benefits are supported by research in psychology, neuroscience, and integrative health:

1. Reduced Stress & Anxiety

Breathwork activates the parasympathetic nervous system, lowering cortisol and calming the body’s stress response.

2. Emotional Release & Clarity

Expressive art helps process emotions, integrate difficult experiences, and improve emotional regulation.

3. Improved Mood & Increased Joy

Movement and dance stimulate dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins — your natural feel-good neurotransmitters.

4. Nervous System Reset

Slow, deep breathing and meditation help shift out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-digest mode.

5. Enhanced Mind-Body Awareness

Movement + breath practices improve interoception (understanding internal sensations), increasing grounding and self-trust.

6. Boosted Creativity & Problem-Solving

Engaging the creative brain opens new pathways for insight, flexibility, and innovation.

7. Social Connection & Belonging

Group experiences reduce loneliness, foster connection, and increase oxytocin — which enhances feelings of safety and community.
