The Wildcard Session is an outdoor open mic for Twitch music streamers, happening Saturday of TwitchCon San Diego right on the pier behind the convention center. No lineup. No advance signups. Just 10-minute (or 2-song) sets when your name is pulled at random from the deck.
Call to Artists
If you’re in San Diego for TwitchCon and didn’t land a showcase, this is your shot. Come perform in front of your friends, your community, and a crowd that actually gets Twitch music.
Who can perform: Anyone who streams music on Twitch. Singers, producers, loopers, instrumentalists, all welcome
How it works: Sign up at the venue starting 30 minutes before showtime. We’ll pull names randomly throughout the night. Original songs are strongly encouraged but not required. Sorry, no backing tracks or karaoke.
Set length: 10 minutes or 2 songs per artist, no more, no less
Gear: House guitar, keyboard, and mics provided (you can bring your own instruments too)
For Fans and the Community
FREE to attend! Outside venue, so dress accordingly. First 50 attendees to arrive will be entered to win free drinks, food or merch. Grab a burger, try some local beer, and catch Twitch musicians create magic on the fly.
