THE WHISTLER Preview/Test Screening

The Whistler tells the story of a grieving mother who travels to the Venezuelan plains, where she encounters a cult who claim to summon spirits. But when she attempts to make contact with her lost daughter, she accidentally summons the most dangerous spirit of them all, The Whistler.

The Mississippi Film Society is pleased to invite you to a very special screening of The Whistler on Tuesday night, October 28, at 7 pm at the Malco Renaissance Cinema (Ridgeland). This yet-to-be-released horror film comes from director Diego Velasco, a graduate of the USM film program. Diego will be in attendance for a post-screening conversation about the film and to hear audience feedback that will help the team bring this film to a wider audience.

Seating is limited and registration is required. Tickets are first-come, first-served and limited to four per order. Due to the nature of the film, no one younger than 13 will be admitted.
