The Water Ride - Biking for Education

Come join us for The Water Ride - a day filled with friends, bikes and beers! Whether you're a experienced biker or just getting started, this event is perfect for all ages. So grab your helmet and bicycle, gather your friends and family, and pedal in to a day of fun in the sun!

The Details:

  • Check-in begins at 11:00am at Confluence Brewing Company and the ride kicks off at 12:00pm.
  • T-shirts will be available for presale with limited extras at check in.
  • Merch such as jerseys, hats and fanny packs will be available to purchase at check-in.

  • Flat 17 mile ride all on Des Moines bike trails
  • Food and beverage stops
  • Hanging out with friends while supporting others

Frequently asked questions

Where do I park my car?

Parking is available to both the east and west of Confluence Brewing or at Gray's Lake. Please leave the main lot out front open for other guests who may be coming and going throughout the day.

Can kids and families ride?

YES PLEASE! Everyone is welcome! The route is flat and on the safety of bike trails. Feel free to go at your own pace and enjoy the day, it's not a race!
