About this event

This space was created with the hope that everyone who enters feels safe, curious, and empowered to explore their voice and personal expression. Whether that means trying something new, deepening your connection to how you communicate, or simply playing with sound and language — you’re in the right place!

Jiji is a Speech and Language Pathologist at Fog City Speech and Language in San Franisco. She is passionate about helping people express themselves authentically, and she believes the voice is one of the most powerful tools we have for connection. Her goal is to hold space for learning, laughter, exploration, and a little bit of geeking out.

Initial 4 workshops will focus on:

  1. August 15th: Introduction to Vocal Anatomy, Breath, and Resonance
  2. August 22nd: Breath and Resonance
  3. September 5th: Pitch and Intonation
  4. September 12th: Gender Affirming Voice & Identity discussion

Additional topics could include:

  • Phone Voice Reflexive Sounds
  • Articulation/Language
  • Rate of Speech
  • Prosody/Musicality
  • Emotional Expression in Voice
  • Voice & Identity Discussion
