Learning the vocabulary of analytics can increase a designer's comfort with understanding and using data, helping us to communicate meaningful information as well as better understanding your audience's behavior and needs. This talk will walk designers through an example of interaction data analysis, covering types of data, the process of analytics, tools used in data analysis, and how to continue learning more.
After this talk, designers will have the tools to share a common language of analytics as well as an understanding of how to leverage this data in your design process. This talk is perfect for designers who are curious about involving analytics in their work, or to get a better understanding of the data they encounter; no prior data experience is needed.
