Welcome to The Unscripted Life Summit!

I'm Nebulous Niang, a stand-up comedian from Singapore who recently quit her 18 year corporate career to pursue comedy full time.

If there's one thing my journey has taught me, it's that life rarely follows the script you're handed.

Growing up in a pretty conservative culture, I certainly had a clear plan for 'happiness' – academics, a stable job, marriage, kids, the whole predictable package. For a long time, I tried my best to stick to it!

But life, as it turns out, had a far more interesting and authentic path in store for me. My personal plot twists included a challenging marriage and drawn-out post-divorce tensions, and then coming out to myself in my mid-30s.

This led me to a beautiful, stable long-term relationship with my girlfriend, and we're embracing the unique joys and challenges of raising our children in a conservative country as an inter-ethnic lesbian couple.

Through all these unexpected turns, and an incredible journey of self-discovery, I've learned to reawaken my intuition, own my authentic self, and relish the profound power of humor, even in the toughest moments.

As your host, I'm here not with a flawless map, but with insights from my own lived experience – the unexpected detours, the breakthroughs, and the laughter found along the way.

I've been incredibly inspired by the wisdom and courage of the amazing individuals I've had the chance to interview for this summit, and I can't wait for you to feel that same spark!
