The Turn Up Open Mic
Overview
You're invited to The Turn Up, an open mic experience presented by Torch Literary Arts. All are welcome! Poets, storytellers, and songwriters are welcome to sign up for the open mic. Black and BIPOC women are encouraged to share their original work.
Get there early to get on the list! 10 performers max. 3 minutes each.
$10 + fees (the Torch Center is cashless.)

Torch Literary Arts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established to publish and promote creative writing by Black women. We publish contemporary writing by emerging and experienced writers alike. Torch has featured work by Tayari Jones, Sharon Bridgforth, Crystal Wilkinson, Patricia Smith, Natasha Trethewey, Sapphire, and others. Programs include the Wildfire Reading Series, writing workshops, retreats, and special events.
