Pegasus: The Orchestra is proud to partner with Mana contemporary in the launch of Pegasus at Mana music residency program featuring orchestra, piano, chamber, jazz and youth series. The music residency program at Mana is committed to presenting world-class performances, building a unique platform for collaborations, fostering a creative environment for musicians and providing educational opportunities to local communities.

Pegasus at Mana will present unique programming comprised of adventurous mix of familiar and rarely heard works throughout the year. Select rehearsals will be open to the public thus providing a rare glimpse into the creative process of the artists at work.

Pegasus: The Orchestra is a non-profit professional orchestra in Residence at Mana Contemporary with a mission to empower rising musicians with artistic freedom and promote innovative repertoire in an environment of creative thought and expression. Led by Karén Hakobyan - founder, artistic director and principal conductor  - the orchestra brings together musicians and audiences of diverse backgrounds and cultural heritages by harnessing the power of music. 

While the orchestra will invite renowned soloists, it will – in a bold, unusual, and strongly confident nod to its members – deservedly shine the light on the virtuosity of its own players, thereby featuring them joyfully while fostering their individual and the ensemble’s collective creativity, productivity, personal growth, and emergence.

Pegasus Piano Series is committed to presenting great artists in an adventurous mix of familiar and rarely heard piano repertoire, cultivating excellence in performance and promoting exceptional talent.
