We began our first ingredient focused dinners back in 2019, right here with the Tomato Dinner. Returning every year by popular demand, The Tomato Dinner, will feature ALL the beautiful varieties available locally and grown at our own farm in every course! Our evening begins with a welcome cocktail and small bite, offering the perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow guests and local growers. We’ll then be seated for a five-course, tomato-focused dinner that highlights the best of the season’s bounty

This dinner was originally inspired by a trip (by owner Wendy) to Avignon, France 25 years ago and experiencing The Tomato Menu at Christian Etienne Restaurant.

Every course will highlight different varieties of tomatoes that are growing locally, paired with wines (optional). Our kitchen, led by 2020 James Beard Semifinalist, Chef Adam Cooke, will be sure to deliver some unique and delicious presentations of the tomato.

This year we are bringing back community dining. The purpose of these events is to build community around local food.

Where do we park?

We have two parking lots on either side of our building, but there is also additional parking behind our restaurant at Travelers Rest United Methodist Church, just over the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Topsoil Kitchen and Market opened Summer of 2019 in downtown Travelers Rest, SC right on the Swamp Rabbt Trail.  We celebrate the seasons with produce from our local farmers and bake our bread fresh daily.  Chef Adam Cooke is our executive chef.  

Currently Open For Dinner Thursday - Sunday 5-9pm

Private Event Space Available and Catering email info@topsoilrestaurant.com Current max capacity for events is 50. Plenty of outdoor seating on our covered patios.
