Event Details

An organization is a human system.  Most leaders put a lot of time and attention into their other systems--like IT, R&D and distribution. They know that if these systems are not carefully thought out and well maintained their company will fail.  But their human or “relationship system,” is often taken for granted. Yet it is actually the system that does all the work.

As a coach or consultant, how do you help a team become a more effective relationship system?  In this session we will present two tools for helping you do just that.  You will learn how to raise awareness of the interpersonal roles that team members occupy, and how to work with and mitigate toxic behaviors that can hamper team effectiveness.

Takeaways:

  1. Learn a straightforward tool for helping teams deal with “toxic” communication styles like blame, defensiveness, and contempt.
  2. Gain an understanding of how systems use Interpersonal Roles, why it’s important to be able to separate the individual from the role they occupy at any given time, and how to work with this often-unspoken aspect of team life.

Join us for a fun and interactive morning!
