Story Studio is ideal for children ages 2–5. Parents or caregivers must stay with their child during the class.

Is this a drop-off class?

No — At this time, Story Studio is a caregiver-participation class. We encourage you to play, paint, and explore alongside your child! We love hearing feedback and what our customers are looking for. Let us know if you would be interested in a drop-off class in the future!

How much does it cost?

Introductory Special: $35 per child.
Drop-In Rate: $45. 3-Class Pack: $120 ($40/class).
5-Class Pack: $185 ($37/class).

What’s included with each class?

Each session includes:

Engaging storytime focused on one story.

Themed craft + painting project.

Sensory and movement play.

Fresh fruit snack + coffee station for parents.

A themed take-home item, like a Play-Doh kit, sensory bottle, painted pumpkin and more fun crafts!

Do you offer sibling discounts?

Yes! Additional siblings get $5 off per class. Must register together.

What should we bring?

Accepted Answer

Just your child and a willingness to get a little messy! Children's aprons and supplies are provided. You’re welcome to bring a water bottle or comfort item for your child. Costumes are ALWAYS encouraged!

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

We do not offer refunds, but you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or apply it as credit toward a future Story Studio class or event. Just email us at maritza@milkandlilyportrait.co to make the change.

How long is each class?

Classes run about 90 minutes, with a mix of storytime, art, play, snack, and rotating activity stations.

We’re located inside Gather Walnut Creek, 1347 Locust Street in Downtown Walnut Creek (across from the South Locust Garage).
