About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

China business veteran and political commentator, Michael Sacharski, is back to the International Trade Association of Greater Chicago to follow-up on his successful 2017 forecast, GAME ON!, when he accurately forewarned the coming scope and scale of the contentious U.S. – China relationship that burst open in April 2018 and has dominated the relationship in worsening degrees ever since.

Now, Michael looks ahead to anticipate where the current bi-lateral relationship will “land” in the years 2032 – 2036 with a new set of outcomes for American business executives to manage. His presentation is more than a strategic look ahead. It becomes an on-the-spot practicum addressing near-term tactical executive decision-making over the 24-quarter run-up, starting 2026, to 2032. Emphasis will be on retention and development of a company’s value proposition, and the implication management decisions will have on pro forma financial planning. His presentation will provide attendees with next day tools to begin the journey to 2032 - 2036.

Mr. Sacharski’s career spans 30 years of living and working in China. He has had an unbroken string of on‐the‐ground work experiences across China’s development arc; from post‐Cultural Revolution devastation to today’s global giant conducting sophisticated transactions around the world.
