The Space Between- TaKeTiNa, Ecstatic Dance and Deep Rest
Overview
As the year draws to a close and the noise of the world grows louder, we gather to pause — to return to rhythm, presence, and deep rest.
In times of uncertainty and intensity, moments of stillness become essential medicine. This workshop offers a space to exhale, to reconnect with our inner rhythm and to celebrate in community with meaningful ritual.
Through the grounding pulse of TaKeTiNa, the wild freedom of Ecstatic Dance, and the soothing embrace of Deep Rest (with live ambient music), we’ll move gently between activity and stillness — resetting body, heart, and mind.
No experience needed. All welcome.
Please bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, or anything else to support your warmth and comfort.
Beginners are warmly welcomed.
Workshop Elements
TaKeTiNa
Developed by Reinhard Flatischler, TaKeTiNa is a powerful rhythmic process using layered steps, claps, vocal patterns, and mantra. As multiple rhythmic layers unfold, participants are invited to drop out of linear thinking and into an embodied, intuitive awareness. This process embraces mistakes, encourages curiosity, and opens the door to trance-like states, rhythmic consciousness, and expanded presence.
Suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

Ecstatic Dance
A free-form, somatic journey into movement. Participants are guided through breath and body awareness before entering a dance that is expressive, intuitive, and deeply personal. Set to evocative, powerful music, this dance invites you to be moved rather than to move — letting go of control and opening to flow.
Deep Rest
Rest and integration are essential to somatic learning. This closing section of the workshop offers a restorative sound journey featuring live ambient music — Charlotte’s ethereal vocals, crystal bowls, gongs, flute, and piano — creating a sonic cocoon for reflection, healing, and inner stillness.
Testimonials
"I had never heard of TaKeTiNa, but after my first session, I was hooked. Never before had I experienced such a meditative yet stimulating and utterly grounding practice all in one. Justin is an incredible facilitator. To be in his grounded and peaceful presence is a tonic alone for the often frantic, busy world."— Emily, Musician
"TaKeTiNa has transformed my approach to music and life. This process has facilitated deep healing through entraining my nervous system towards regulation and social connection. It allowed me to tap into unprocessed emotions and liberated creative energy I didn't know I was holding. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in inner exploration, wellbeing, and personal growth."— Kamil, Psychologist
