The SoulShake is a Northern California rock/reggae band blending melodic songwriting with groove-driven arrangements influenced by West Coast reggae-rock and classic singer-songwriter traditions. Formed in Petaluma, California, the project began in 2016 when longtime friends turned years of musical experimentation and shared life experience into a focused creative outlet. Their music reflects an evolution shaped by personal growth, humor, and a commitment to using songs as a way to connect people through shared experiences.

After releasing their debut album A Little Peace in the Puzzle in 2018, the band continued developing their sound through multiple releases and lineup shifts. During the COVID-19 pandemic, The SoulShake gained international attention through their weekly livestream Saturdays with The SoulShake, which attracted tens of thousands of viewers, raised funds for social justice causes, and aired on local television. Their latest release, In This Moment (2024), is an eight-song EP available on all major streaming platforms and on vinyl, showcasing the band’s continued growth and dedication to their craft.
