About this event

Since scalp cooling achieved FDA clearance in 2017 and was subsequently included within the NCCN guidelines, Paxman’s vision has always been to ensure equitable access to the treatment for all.

Despite rapidly growing demand for scalp cooling in the US, disparity in access to this essential treatment remains. Historically, scalp cooling has been an out-of-pocket cost, making it financially inaccessible for many.

Reimbursement is now a firm reality with Category CPT I Codes for Scalp Cooling effective January 1, 2026. It’s time to switch to the Paxman Insurance-Based Billing Model (IBBM).

Join us in this one-of-a-kind webinar as opinion leaders such as Steven Isakoff, MD, PhD, Anna M. Litvak, MD, Alicia Maston Coffin MS, RN, OCN, Andrea Smith, and Richard Paxman OBE, impart their expert knowledge and share their experiences with reimbursement and the IBBM. The panel will also answer the pressing questions on the subject.

Walk away fully informed on topics such as the current financial toxicity for patients, the new Category I CPT codes, accessing Paxman’s IBBM (how it works, its benefits, how to implement it, where to find out more), current state legislative bills, and what it means to patients receiving the treatment free at the point of access.
