Who is The Shift Program for Job Seekers for?

The Shift Program for Job Seekers is designed to help those who have had jobs but struggle with keeping them for more than a month or two. They leave for a variety of reasons, such as quitting or being asked to leave by the employer. This program will help break that pattern and find a better fit.

Who can attend this Info Meeting?

Anyone interested in The Shift Program can attend the meeting, but the program itself is open to adult (18+) job seekers who live in Monroe County, NY, or last worked for an employer in Monroe County.

Where is the Information Meeting held?

All Job Seeker Information Meetings for the Shift Program will be held in-person at the RochesterWorks Career Center, 100 College Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607.

Is there a cost?

No, it's all free. There is no cost to attend the Information Meeting or to participate in the full Shift Program for Job Seekers, if you decide to register.

When will The Shift Program for Job Seekers start?

We plan to run The Shift Program for Job Seekers three times during 2025. The program will run in June, August, and October, and space is still available in all three of the program sessions.

How do I sign up for The Shift Program for Job Seekers?

Anyone interested in The Shift Program must attend an Info Meeting first. We want to make sure those who sign up understand how the program works and are going to stay in the program through its end. You will receive directions to register for the Program during the Info Meeting.
