Artificial intelligence is transforming how businesses operate, compete, and grow—but with that transformation comes new and evolving security risks. Organizations must move beyond experimentation to implement AI in ways that are intentional, secure, and aligned with long-term strategy.
As part of the Massachusetts High Technology Council’s MassVision2050 Cybersecurity Community, The Shield and the Spark: Unlocking AI’s Potential, Securing Its Future will bring members together for a 90-minute, in-person session exploring how business leaders can embrace AI while staying ahead of emerging threats.
The program will feature Joe Flores, CEO of UnRavl Technologies, a cybersecurity strategist and returning contributor to the Council’s Cybersecurity Community, and Prakash Viswanathan, CEO of Cogent Heuristics, an expert in AI security frameworks and risk mitigation. Together, they will lead interactive, scenario-based discussions on real-world AI security issues, strategic integration, and practical mitigation approaches.
Building on insights from the Council’s April 16 ransomware response tabletop exercise, this program is designed for business, innovation, and cybersecurity leaders looking to better understand and manage AI risk in enterprise settings.
Participants will:
- Gain insight into where AI is headed and how it can drive sustainable growth
- Understand the hidden risks posed by unmanaged AI use across teams
- Engage in a real-world case study activity designed to spark critical thinking and peer discussion
Join us to explore how to unlock AI’s potential—without compromising your organization’s security.
