Chef Earl, a Whitefish native and James Beard nominee, is known for his playful, seasonal cuisine rooted in locally sourced ingredients. Trained in Seattle and shaped by renowned kitchens like Canlis, his creative style now shines at 101 Central, where he celebrates Montana’s bounty with heart and imagination.
Bladesmith Corey Dunlap’s journey began in Cleveland with a childhood fascination for knives and early restaurant jobs. After culinary school in Phoenix, a gifted Japanese knife shifted his focus from food to forging. Over the past decade, he has sharpened more than 100,000 blades, trained under a Master Bladesmith, and mastered the art of creating tools that merge Japanese precision with Western durability.
Come celebrate the launch of these exquisite pieces with small bites, drinks, music, and good company. It is a night to honor craftsmanship, artistry, and the spirit of this culinary collaboration.
