• The Shambles
No band was more aptly named than The Shambles. They pretty much were always in that state. They rocked hard and most of their gigs way back when were in Baltimore. They flew under the radar in the DC area. But...you can find out what the all fuss was about when they reunite on Saturday 11/30 Thanksgiving weekend. The Shambles are Russ Beeker and David Goodfriend from Goin Goin Gone, Tommy Hannigan, Clark Matthews and Pete Kanaras who quit some band named The Nighthawks to play with them. It's District rock n' roll with The Shambles!
• Hard-Core Troubadours
At the turn of the century there was a roots rockin’ DC area band called the Hard-Core Troubadours. They played roots rock, country swing, surf, cowpunk, texas blues, alt country, and rockabilly. Whatever you call it, it was always danceable and fun! Now they’re back doing shows and adding some new material too!
