Where do the Florida panthers roam? Let's find out! Join Biologist, Mark Lotz for a guided hike to explore the secretive lives of Florida’s wild cats—the elusive Florida panther and the stealthy bobcat. Learn how to spot their tracks, understand their role in our ecosystem, and discover the challenges they face in the wild.

Mark Lotz is a panther biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. His primary duties include capturing panthers to monitor population characteristics for genetic restoration and conservation and managing human-panther interactions. He also is the president of the Wild Felid Research and Management Association; a nonprofit organization focused on promoting conservation of wild felids in the Americas.
