This series of trainings will introduce the SCERTS® (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation, Transactional Support) model. A developmental, relationship-based approach that is evidence-based for autistic children and adolescents, as well as those with diverse social-emotional learning profiles.

In partnership with the Georgia Mental Health Access in Pediatrics Program (GMAP), participating members of their program who support autistic and neurodivergent children will be invited to participate in both introductory (Level 1) and advanced professional development (Level 2) on the implementation of the SCERTS framework.

Level 2 of this series will include 3 sessions; see the agenda for training dates and details.

Level 2 Learning Outcomes:

  • Objective #1: Participating providers will demonstrate the specific knowledge and skills of designing support plans to implement meaningful support for their clients.
  • Objective #2: Participating providers will demonstrate confidence in collecting data to monitor fidelity and quality of life impact on the client.

Certificates of Completion will be provided following Level 1 and Level 2. Participants will also receive a copy of the SCERTS manuals.
