Welcome to the Scent Lab at Above Average Candle Studio, where fragrance lovers and curious creators alike can drop in, unwind, and design their very own signature scent — no appointment needed!

Start your experience by exploring our Fragrance Menu, featuring 15 beautifully curated notes ranging from fresh florals and cozy woods to creamy vanillas and exotic fruits. With guidance from our fragrance hosts, you’ll blend and balance your favorite aromas to create a custom scent that’s uniquely you.

Once you’ve found your perfect blend, you’ll get to bottle it up in a perfume oil roller ball — perfect for on-the-go, everyday wear, or gifting to someone special. But why stop there? Your fragrance can also be added to any of our Above Average vegan body-care products, all handmade in small batches right here in the studio.

FINE PRINT:
The experience is typically 30-45 minutes. Bookings/appointments are recommended and will take first priority. Only Pre-Paid Walk-ins are welcomed. The Scent Lab - Fragrance Making workshop has a "last call" 30 minutes prior to the end of the experience. (ex. if the experience is 12-3p, the latest arrival would be 2:30pm) We recommend that you arrive early as the experience is first come first serve. The studio can host up to 16 participants at a time. If we are at capacity upon your arrival, we will text on a first come first serve basis when space is available. If you can not make it to your booking, we do offer class credits. You will have an entire calendar year to reschedule your experience. If Above Average Studio cancels your workshop for any reason, we will offer you a discount to reschedule or a full refund. In the event of a cancellation, we will contact you via phone/email/text - Please keep in mind that we do NOT ANSWER calls during class sessions.
