The Rooted Table: An Immersive Cuisine Experience
On November 6th, 2025, the garden comes alive. The Rooted Table transforms Brooklyn Heights Community Garden into a walk-through celebration of food, art, and sound—where every bite, note, and color tells a story of Nashville’s creativity and care.
Led by Chef Trevor Moran and the acclaimed Locust team—recently named one of The New York Times’ 50 Best Restaurants in America and ranked #20 in North America by The World’s Best—this isn’t dinner as usual. Guests will move through the garden, discovering curated food stations nestled among live plants, surrounded by music, art, and the people who make this city feel like home.
🎶 Soundscapes of the City
The night flows with energy from DJ Afrosheen, three-time Nashville Scene “Best DJ” winner, and a live performance from BEAN.—a Nashville-based collective known for their genre-bending sound that blends emotional depth, intricate composition, and raw humanity.
🎨 Art that Breathes
The Field to Canvas series returns from local artist and visionary, Dr. Meg Jordan (Meg Jo Art)—whose pieces explore healing, belonging, and transformation. Her art invites guests to see community growth as both a practice and a masterpiece.
🌱 Rooted in Legacy
What was once abandoned lots is now Brooklyn Heights Community Garden—the only urban farm in historic North Nashville, where legacy is honored, wellness is nurtured, and community is always in season.
This very Nashville evening is a feast for all the senses — an immersive blend of taste, sound, and connection. Every ticket directly supports long-term food security and keeps North Nashville’s story growing strong.
Come walk the garden. Eat, listen, feel, and give back—together.
