Join us for a lively afternoon at the West Dennis Free Public Library with Dr. David S. Martin, Chairman of the Cape and Islands Historians Committee. We will uncover little-known Revolutionary War history--privateering, British shipwrecks, contentious splits between loyalists and patriots, the service of African Americans and Native Americans fighting in the cause--and we will celebrate the work of dedicated local historians, and mark the release of this important new book. Light refreshments will be served and books will be available for purchase after the presentation.
