The Resistance Ball

Powered by BlaqOut in collaboration with Legendary Logik Garcon and Legendary Zodiacx Balmain in association with Ten Productions.

The Resistance Ball is a Mini Ball Deluxe—a vibrant, low-pressure, high-impact event that celebrates the richness of ballroom culture while welcoming newcomers and non-ballroom audiences alike.

Rooted in Black queer empowerment, cultural education, and community connection, this gathering creates a joyful, intentional space where creativity and self-expression thrive. Whether you're walking a category or cheering from the sidelines, you're part of the movement.

Come for the energy. Stay for the community. This is The Resistance—and you're invited!

Categories

All categories must incorporate a look inspired by themes of military, rebellion, protest, or resistance movements. This can include—but is not limited to—inspiration drawn from freedom fighters, the Black Panther Party, Stonewall activists, civil rights marchers, futuristic resistance fighters, the Black Lives Matter movement, or any expression that symbolizes personal or cultural defiance. Be bold, be intentional, and let your look speak truth to power!
