About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Curated by Germono Toussaint, this special event includes a screening of a filmed excerpt from The Last Gatekeeper, an immersive Afro-futurist musical that blends ancestral storytelling, music, and multi-sensory technology to explore Black Queer lineage, spirituality, and resistance. Developed through residencies with CultureHub and Musical Theatre Factory, the piece reimagines liberation through the lens of the sacred role of the Gatekeeper.

The screening will be followed by a conversation featuring:

  • Germono Toussaint – Creator, Composer, and Librettist
  • Dr. John-Martin Green – Director of The Last Gatekeeper and Executive Director of The Gatekeepers Collective
  • Moderated by Dr. Bethy Victorin – Haitian cultural activist, storyteller, and spiritual guide dedicated to empowering marginalized communities

This RSVP is specifically for The Last Gatekeeper screening and talkback.
