Advances towards the commercialization of fusion energy have triggered an international race. National governments are investing in distinct technical approaches to realize fusion, and with different mixes of public and private sector leadership. This event will explore the mix of cooperation and competition currently defining the international fusion landscape. Cooperation takes the form of bi-lateral relationships, and the international ITER project supported by member states worldwide. Simultaneously competition takes the form of national governments and private companies developing parallel capabilities and supply chains to commercialize fusion as fast as possible. We hope you will join us for an enlightening panel discussion with leaders in international energy policy surrounding fusion. Reception and lab tours to follow.
