Established in 2008, the 450th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth I from whom they take their name, the Queen’s Six are based at Windsor Castle, and have sung at all important royal occasions, including the official funeral services for Queen Elizabeth II. “Sensitive and well-balanced, alert to textural variety and anchored by a spacious bass line, this is superb singing” (Gramophone).
