By Clinton Presidential Center

Overview

A compelling look at America’s ongoing struggle to balance freedom and authority

Join us on Monday, December 1, at 6 p.m. for an in-depth conversation with bestselling author and National Constitution Center president and CEO Jeffrey Rosen. Rosen will discuss his new book, "Pursuit of Liberty: How Hamilton vs. Jefferson Ignited the Lasting Battle over Power in America." This timely discussion will offer insight into the origins of America’s most enduring constitutional questions and why they remain as relevant today as they were in the past.

"Pursuit of Liberty" offers a compelling look at America’s ongoing struggle to balance freedom and authority. By exploring the constitutional disagreements between Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson, Rosen shows how their opposing ideals have shaped our country and our most urgent debates, influencing modern leaders.

BOOK: Rosen will sign copies of "Pursuit of Liberty" following the program. Click here to purchase your copy from the Clinton Museum Store, available for pick up at the event or post-event delivery.
