Welcome to The Principles of Pilates: A 4-Part Mat Series at Radiant Vida Spa—Hosted by Certified Classical Instructor Janet—a movement experience designed to help you reconnect with your body, calm your mind, and elevate your health and wellness through the power of Classical Pilates.

Over the course of four weekends, you’ll explore the 6 foundational principles of Pilates:

Control, Centering, Concentration, Precision, Breath, and Flow.

Each session will focus on one core principle — Control, Centering, Concentration, or Precision — while seamlessly weaving in Breath and Flow to support every movement with intention and grace.

To deepen your recovery and relaxation, an optional cold plunge will be offered after class. It’s a refreshing way to reset your nervous system and leave you feeling fully recharged.

Be sure to bring a swimsuit and towel if you’d like to participate!

What to Expect:

• Weekly 45–60 minute guided mat Pilates class

• Focused instruction on one principle per session

• Breathwork + mindful flow for integration and ease

• A peaceful spa setting to help you unwind and reset

• Optional cold plunge following the session

• Supportive community vibe – all levels welcome(modifications provided)

What to Bring: A mat, water, and your all the Pilates Energy! A towel and journal are optional for post-class reflection — plus, bring a swimsuit and towel if you plan to take the plunge.

Let’s build strength, stamina and body mindfulness together—one principle at a time.

Frequently asked questions

1. Do I need Pilates experience to join?

Not at all! This series is open to all levels. Whether you’re brand new to Pilates or looking to deepen your practice, modifications will be offered so you can move safely and confidently.

2. What should I bring?

Bring a yoga or Pilates mat, a bottle of water, and an open mind. You may also want to bring a towel and a journal for the optional reflection time at the end.

3. What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes that allow you to move freely. Grippy socks are optional but recommended for added stability.

4. How much does it cost?

Your first session is free! After that, each class is $20 per session. Payment details will be provided upon registration or at check-in.

5. Can I drop in for just one session?

Yes! While the series is designed to build on each principle weekly, drop-ins are absolutely welcome. Come to one or come to all — you’ll still get a full, enriching experience.

6. Is there parking available?

Yes! There is ample free street parking near the venue. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to find a good spot and get settled in.

7. Will props be used?

No props are required for this series — it’s focused on classical mat work using your own bodyweight. However, you’re welcome to bring small props like a magic circle or light hand weights if you’d like to amplify your practice.
