In 2024, Merriam-Webster chose "polarization" as its word of the year. In 2025, the word feels just as fitting. Trust within and across communities is at an all time low, while rates of political violence rise. Divides continue to deepen, leaving many unsure how to engage in dialogue or hold complexity in a moment that feels overwhelming.

On November 13, join us as we examine what's driving these fractures and how Search's approach to conflict transformation offers a path forward. Together, we’ll explore how the tools of peacebuilding—listening, trust-building, and recognizing one another’s full humanity—can help shift the narrative from fear to connection and build a future marked by trust and collaboration.
