The Polish Party: Make Your Own Press-On Nails, Cat Eye Edition

Design your own custom press-on nail set using cat eye gel polish, magnetic tools, charms, and more — all materials and tools included.

Ever wanted to do your nails in a space that actually gets you?

The Polish Party is a guided press-on nail art workshop where you can come as you are and create your own set of custom press-ons using cat eye gel polish, magnets, charms, stickers, and more. It’s hands-on, joy-filled, and intentionally small, so there’s room to connect, create, and show up fully.

You’ll leave with your own one-of-a-kind nail set and a take-home kit to wear your art out in the world. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about making something from the heart with your hands and having fun while you do it.

What you’ll do:

• Learn how to apply cat eye gel for a magnetic, shimmery effect (see photos)
• I’ll walk you through how to polish your own custom set of press-on nails from start to finish
• Create your own custom set of 10 press-on nails using vegan gel polish, charms, stickers, and more
• Close out with a mini gallery walk to admire everyone’s creations

What’s included:

• Custom Press-On Nail Set: Choose from a variety of nail shapes and lengths
• Personalized Nail Station: Your own gel polish setup, magnetic wand, charms, tools, and UV nail lamp
• Guided Tutorial: Learn how to apply cat eye gel step by step
• Take-Home Nail Kit: Glue, file, buffer, adhesive tabs, cuticle pusher, alcohol swab, and cuticle oil to wear your nails out in the world

Who it’s for:
No experience needed. All genders are welcome and encouraged to come. This is a gender-expansive, affirming space, come as you are, bring a friend, or come solo and meet new ones.

Age 14+, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

About the Facilitator:
Jordie Cisneros (they/she) is a textile and nail artist based in LA and founder of Clacque [klak] Closet. Their work centers beauty, self-expression, and community care, often through affirming, hands-on experiences. The Polish Party is one way they help folks slow down, get playful, and wear their creativity on their fingertips.
