Do I need a camera and microphone?

We highly encourage participants to have their cameras on & to be ready to unmute themselves throughout the workshop so they can interact and discuss live. Participants are also free to utilize the chat tool as well for questions and comments.

Will I get a certificate after this workshop?

Yes. A certificate of completion will be provided at the conclusion of the workshop if you attend both days and complete all post-workshop requirements.

What supplies should I bring to the training?

Just yourself, a computer with internet access and something to take notes if you'd like! As it is a full 2-days of training, a water bottle to stay hydrated and some snacks handy aren't bad ideas - but we will be providing breaks throughout. All class materials, handouts and resources will digital.

Are the sessions recorded?

No. Due to HIPAA compliance/confidentiality for the case study materials included; the workshop is not recorded and the sessions are live only. Please plan to attend both days to complete the training.

How interactive is the training?

This workshop includes video and slide presentations, small and large group discussions, Q&A opportunities, polls, quizzes and small group activities. There is a good mix of individual focused time and conversation.

Are CEUs offered for this workshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. CEUs are offered through ASHA, AOTA and Illinois Early Intervention. Requirements to receive CEUs include attendance to both full days of the workshop and completing both the workshop post-test and submitting the workshop satisfaction survey.
