Rachel Gonzaga is District Director for Senator Sabrina Cervantes, a role she has held for nearly a decade, including during Cervantes’ time in the State Assembly. A proud UC Riverside alumna with both a B.A. and M.P.P., Rachel began her career as a community organizer with the California Vote Project and later served in congressional and state legislative offices. In her current position, she oversees district operations, mentors staff, and advises on policy initiatives that have resulted in 49 enacted bills and over $650 million in community investments. A lifelong Inland Empire resident, she also serves on the Friends of California Citrus State Park Board and UCR’s Chicano/Latino Affairs Advisory Committee.
