Join us on April 27th, 2023 at 10 AM (EDT) for an exciting virtual event featuring the recently launched Open edX Maintainer’s Program, an upcoming copy/paste feature in Studio, and a useful open source integration, BigBlueButton, to enhance your own instance of the Open edX Platform.

The Open edX Maintainers Program will allow members of our community, currently engaged in the Core Contributor’s Program, to manage platform components, hosted in GitHub, of the Open edX Platform. Learn the details of the initial phases of this program and how you can become involved in maintaining the platform.

Additionally, our Product Manager, Jenna Makowski, will present a Studio prototype of the new copy/paste feature, scheduled to be launched in early May of this year.

Finally, Frederick Dixon, CEO of Blindside Networks Inc., will present BigBlueButton, a virtual classroom, created by Blindside Networks and sponsored by the Open Source Initiative (OSI), which allows users to integrate multi-user white board, breakout rooms, shared notes, polling, and emojis for increased interactions within virtual classrooms. Join the event and learn about their current work related to the Open edX Platform and LTI.
