Overview

How this ballet was created, the story behind the music, the characters, meaning of libretto - what makes this show so magical every year!

This is a lecture hosted by Nina Osman - a ballerina and ballet teacher with professional experience for over a decade, who has performed "The Nutcracker" in three different productions.

Through beautiful slides and images from original performances, you will explore 19th century Russia, meet the creators - Tchaikovsky, Petipa and Ivanov - and uncover the magic hidden behind each scene.

This evening is not only about history. It is about feeling the art. Join us to experience how ballet, music and painting come together to create the world of Nutcracker and step into the festive spirit through beauty and imagination!
