The New Way of the Warrior:

Evolving Masculinity in a Shifting Paradigm

Our world is ever-changing + ever-evolving. New technology, identities, and ways of being are popping up everywhere all at once.

Navigating the emergent circumstances of our modern era can feel quite chaotic + overwhelming.

How does one move forward when we are continuously learning more not only about the world but also about ourselves?

Is there a way for us to commune and explore the divine nature of ourselves while allowing space for us to practice grace for what we’re working toward, while forgiving our past ourselves and others?

In this workshop, Christopher Weir (c.weird) will invite us through exercises with the goal of offering us room to explore...

  • What is masculinity to us?
  • How has masculinity shown up in our lives?
  • How might we wish masculinity to show up differently + healthfully?
  • What does a masculinity that strengthens our communities look like?
  • Can we collectively explore routes towards healing past traumas that are associated with the masculine + masculinity?
  • How might we step forward together to support a masculinity that is fit for the here + now?
  • How might we integrate values grounded in divine expressions of masculinity into all that we are putting into the world? (Technology, art, in the workplace, our relationship practices, etc.)
  • How can masculinity show up most effectively + creatively to address the global metacrisis?
  • What can tantra teach us of the high masculine?

Your Facilitator 𓅽𓁿༄

Christopher Weir (c.weird) is a visionary psychopomp with over 27 years as a dreamwalker (lucid + liminal dreamer). His nearly three decades of daily practice is a continued evolution of various modalities including Jungian active imagination, the Dalí/Edison Method (also used by Leonardo da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, and Edgar Allen Poe according to MIT), and Jodorowsky's psychomagic. With 14 years of teaching + facilitation experience including half a decade as an instructor + workshop leader at UC Berkeley, 8 years as a student of the tarot, and a lifetime of interdisciplinary artistic expression, his unique approach to self-exploration is both naturally intuitive + highly informed by various schools of the left-hand path.

Notes

We consider ourselves to all be practitioners—let's all please kindly learn together in this collaborative community space.

Mistakes are welcome; may our hearts open to offering each other + ourselves utmost grace as we journey forth together.

This workshop will be focussing on masculinity and is NOT only for masculine or male identifying people. According to traditions worldwide, we each contain both feminine + masculine energies, and we believe now is the time to shine light on both so they may meet + commune most consistently in their highest/most divine forms.
